We have a loaded National Lacrosse League slate this week, with a handful of teams playing two games in one weekend. We start off with a triple-header on Friday night and I have bets for each of the games. Let’s see which sides and player props I’m betting to start NLL Week 12.

The Toronto Rock and Buffalo Bandits face off again in what should be another thrilling chapter in the rivalry. When these teams last played, Toronto had a lead in the fourth quarter and narrowly lost to Buffalo, 15-13. Now, Toronto is mostly at full strength with Tom Schreiber back leading the offense and TD Ierlan available to counter Buffalo’s Connor Farrell at the faceoff dot.
I also don’t expect as high-scoring of a game, as the Toronto defense has been playing much stronger since last facing Buffalo. While the Bandits offense will still cause problems, Toronto has the ability to hang in this game and potentially even win outright. The only time the Bandits have failed to cover this season was against Toronto and the odds are good enough to bet the Rock to do so again. Bet Toronto +2.5 at -120 on BetMGM and a half unit on the Rock moneyline at +200 on BetMGM.
I also like Schireber to go Over 2.5 goals at +100 on bet365. He’s had multi-goal performances in 26 of his last 37 games and the odds are great to bet another on Friday night. Although he’s operated more as a passer of late, he should get plenty of chances to score and I actually expect Buffalo’s defense to be slower to slide to him in order to limit his playmaking ability as a feeder.
Picks: Toronto Rock +2.5, Toronto Rock ML (0.5 unit), Tom Schreiber Over 1.5 Goals
Saskatchewan Rush at Calgary Roughnecks

The Calgary Roughnecks host the Saskatchewan Rush on Friday night, with both teams recently surging. However, I think the odds are good enough to bet the Rush to win and cover.
Even with starting goalie Frank Scigliano missing a couple of games (due to the birth of his child) the Rush didn’t miss a beat. This defense has been playing well regardless of who is in net and should be able to limit the usually potent Calgary offense enough.
The real edge lies on the other end of the floor, where I expect the Rush offense to give Calgary a lot of trouble. Cam MacLeod has strung together a couple of strong games, but Ottawa and Vancouver’s offenses arean’t exactly the most lethal right now. The Rush has too many weapons and the ability to win by multiple goals.
Even with Jake Naso out, Mike Messenger or whoever else takes draws for Saskatchewan should be able to limit Justin Inacio’s impact and the potential extra possessions the Roughnecks may have don’t worry me against this Rush defense. Bet Saskatchewan Rush -1.5 at +120 on Caesars.
Pick: Saskatchewan Rush -1.5

The Vancouver Warriors take on a Las Vegas Desert Dogs team that has improved roster-wise since the start of the season. Rather than bet a side or total, I’d rather target a player prop.
With the exception of a couple of games, Vancouver’s defense has been the story of their season, holding opponents to the third-fewest goals against average with 9.9. While Las Vegas has been opportunistic on offense, particularly in transition, I expect the Warriors defenders will make limiting Desert Dogs star forward Jack Hannah a focal point.
Hannah has stayed under six points in 19 of his last 26 games and even with an increased role this season, I just don’t see it happening against the Warriors. We should see a lower-than-usual goal total from Las Vegas as a whole against this Vancouver defense and that should help Jack Hannah stay Under 5.5 points on Friday night.
Pick: Jack Hannah Under 5.5 Points
