Conference tournament weekend continues with more matchups on Friday and I have another best bet and conference tournament pick ahead of the weekend. Let’s take a look at my bets for today.

ASUN Conference Tournament Pick
The Atlantic Sun tournament starts today with Utah taking on Bellarmine, and is followed by Jacksonville vs. Air Force. Utah is rightly favored to win the tournament, but I like the odds to bet Jacksonville to win today and knock off their potential opponent in the tournament final.
Bellarmine took Utah to its limit when they played earlier in the season, losing by just two goals. The Utes are weaker than in years past and while I still expect them to get past Bellarmine in this rematch, it won’t be a cake walk for Utah. Jacksonville lost to the Utes earlier in the season by three goals, but the game was in Utah and the Utes’ 40.9% adjusted offensive efficiency was their second-highest of the season. I expect their offense to come back to earth a bit and think the Dolphins can go toe-to-toe even if the game ends up high-scoring again.
Furthermore, the tournament is being hosted by Jacksonville, which gives them a travel advantage over the other three ASUN teams. I don’t put much stock in home-field advantage, but I do consider travel. The Dolphins are 10-2 against conference opponents at home in their last three seasons, with an average score differential of +7.83 goals.
I like Jacksonville’s chances in a potential rematch with Utah and love their chances if Bellarmine manages to pull off the upset. Bet Jacksonville to win the ASUN Tournament at +275 on bet365 or DraftKings.

Colgate and Army meet again in the Patriot League semifinals. The last game between these teams finished 13-9 and was surprisingly low-scoring, even considering how great Army’s defense has been this year. As a result, we’re getting a relatively low total when considering these teams’ offensive pedigree.
Despite Army boasting the best adjusted defensive efficiency, their offense has also been very efficient, and their defense loves to convert caused turnovers and clean saves into transition offense the other way. Army’s offense ranks 12th in adjusted offensive efficiency, according to Lacrosse Reference, and they play at the fastest pace in the nation.
Which team has the second-fastest offense this year? You guessed it, Colgate.
The Raiders are second in pace and 16th in adjusted offensive efficiency, so we could see this game turn into a fast break fest. Colgate’s biggest weakness has been its defense, which ranks 50th in adjusted defensive efficiency during competitive situations. While Colgate loves to generate offense in transition, they also give up a lot of transition opportunities and rank second-fastest in pace on defense as well.
Colgate’s 19 turnovers in the last meeting is what doomed this offense and Army didn’t convert those into goals the other way as much as they usually do. Colgate’s 18.9% shooting percentage was the lowest of the season and while Army’s defense will still give them a tough time, I expect them to have a bit more success this time around.
Whether Army beats Colgate easily or the Raiders are able to keep this close, I expect to see a higher scoring game than last time. Bet this total to go Over 22.5 at -120 on DraftKings.
