After a 10-game Week 14 slate, the National Lacrosse League returns with just five games for Week 15. Last week, we were an Oshawa collapse away from a sweep, but managed to go 5-1 for +4.75 units, improving to 40-31 for +12.515 units (ROI +17.43%) this season. Let’s take a look at the two underdogs and two favorites I’m betting this week.

Toronto Rock at Vancouver Warriors

Vancouver Moneyline/Spread | -250 / -1.5 |

The Rock travel to Vancouver to take on the Warriors in a big Canadian matchup on Friday night. As good as the Warriors have looked, they’re just 6-4 against the spread as a favorite and don’t typically pull away from teams of similar strength. Vancouver is not that much better than Toronto to be commanding these short of odds.
Furthermore, the Rock activated forward Dan Craig and goaltender Nick Rose. While it hasn’t been announced whether Rose will start, I like the Rock’s chances at keeping it close and potentially pulling off the upset even with Troy Holowchuk in net. Both teams are sound defensively and I’m anticipating a physical, low-scoring game. Vancouver’s closest games have been when facing teams with balanced offenses and Toronto has a great mix of righties and lefties, as well as guys that can push in transition, shoot from range or score in tight.
Ultimately, these are way too long odds for a Toronto team that has proven they can hang with the best in the NLL this season. Bet a full unit on Toronto Rock +1.5 at +110 on BetRivers (or +104 on FanDuel) and a half unit on Toronto Rock moneyline at +185 on BetRivers (or +168 on FanDuel).
Pick: Toronto Rock +1.5, Toronto Rock ML (0.5 unit)
Las Vegas Desert Dogs at Halifax Thunderbirds
Las Vegas Moneyline/Spread | +110 / +1.5 |
Halifax Moneyline/Spread | -135 / -1.5 |
| Total | 22.5 |

Another underdog I like this week is the Las Vegas Desert Dogs. They travel to Halifax to take on a banged-up Thunderbirds team that could be without Randy Staats and Max Wilson (both listed as doubtful). Las Vegas is without Chase Fraser once again, but their offense has fared well even without him.
While Halifax snapped their five-game losing streak last week, they did so against a very weak Calgary squad. One of the major areas of improvement for Las Vegas this season has been their transition offense, and the Thunderbirds have struggled to defend fast breaks this season (and for years now).
I like the matchup and price for the Desert Dogs and think they can pull off the upset on Saturday. Bet Las Vegas Desert Dogs moneyline at +115 on BetRivers (or +110 on FanDuel or TheScore Bet).
Pick: Las Vegas Desert Dogs ML
Calgary Roughnecks at Rochester Knighthawks
Calgary Moneyline/Spread | +170 / +1.5 |
Rochester Moneyline/Spread | -220 / -1.5 |
| Total | 22.5 |

The Rochester Knighthawks ended their four-game losing streak with a win over the top-ranked Saskatchewan Rush (albeit on short rest) in starting goaltender Rylan Hartley’s return. When at full strength, Rochester can beat anybody.
While they’rea big favorite against Calgary, I think it’s for good reasons. I trust this offense to score plenty of goals against the Roughnecks and do enough to win comfortably by multiple goals. Don’t fear the juice and bet Rochester Knighthawks -1.5 at -135 on bet365.
Pick: Rochester Knighthawks -1.5
Oshawa FireWolves at Philadelphia Wings
Oshawa Moneyline/Spread | -122 / -1.5 |
Philadelphia Moneyline/Spread | +100 / +1.5 |
| Total | 21.5 |
| Time | Sunday · 3 p.m. ET |

Odds via FanDuel
Later on Sunday, the FireWolves face the Wings in Philadelphia. Oshawa has been a massive disappointment this season and its fourth quarter woes have continued this year, but I think this is a get-right spot for the squad.
The Wings will be without Michael Sowers, Pat Foley and Evan Messenger, while Scott Dominey and Ron John are also questionable. Oshawa has no reported injuries and nearly took down a solid Ottawa team last week. I think they eventually pull away from Philly and cover the spread. Bet Oshawa FireWolves -1.5 at +118 on FanDuel.
Pick: Oshawa FireWolves -1.5
2025-26 NLL Season Best Bets: 40-31 for +12.515 units (ROI +17.43%)
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
