Week 17 in the National Lacrosse League continues with three more games on Saturday, and I have multiple bets for each game. Let’s take a look at my favorite totals and goals props.

We get another consecutive rematch with the Las Vegas Desert Dogs and Rochester Knighthawks facing each other for the second time in six days. Last week, Las Vegas handed Rochester a 17-10 loss. The Knighthawks entered last week’s contest with a new head coach after Rochester ownership decided to relieve long-time Knighthawks head coach Mike Hasen and hire Randy Mearns. Mearns is well-regarded, but I still question the mid-season move and whether it can get the most out of this team.
I think Las Vegas likely edges Rochester again, but this time in a much closer game. So, I’m not willing to take either team on the moneyline or spread and instead am betting the total of 25.5. We saw the last meeting between these teams go over, but consecutive rematches are historically lower-scoring than the first and I think we’ll get a better showing out of the Rochester defense, regardless of whether Rylan Hartley or Riley Hutchcraft is in net. Last week, both put up paltry 58.3% and 68.4% save percentages, respectively, but I expect a better showing and Mearns’ defense to be more prepared.
The story of the win was Las Vegas goalie Alex Buque and a Desert Dogs defense that has played better with Buque in net and added defender Tyson Bell last week. They’ve been great defending the power play and are allowing fewer quality shots than earlier in the year. I think this game satys under the total this week and recommend betting Under 25.5 at +100 on FanDuel or -105 on Caesars.
Despite liking the under, I’m going back to the well and betting Chris Cloutier Over 1.5 Goals at +190 on bet365. Cloutier has gone over this mark in seven of 12 games this season, including scoring a hat trick against Rochester last weekend, so these are good odds to bet him to do so again.
Picks: Under 25.5, Chris Cloutier Over 1.5 Goals
Calgary Roughnecks at Colorado Mammoth
Calgary Moneyline/Spread | +155 / +1.5 |
Colorado Moneyline/Spread | -200 / -1.5 |

Calgary and Colorado have been two of the toughest teams to handicap each week. The Roughhnecks often draw large odds on the moneyline underdogs and have had some notable upsets this season, including the past two weeks against Ottawa and Rochester. I still expect Colorado to get the win, but they’ve lost three of their last four and failed to cover in four of their last six games. Instead of betting a side or the appropriately lined total, I’m betting two reliable player props.
Colorado’s Andrew Kew has missed four of the Mammoth’s 14 games, but has had at least two goals in all 10 games that he’s played. He’s averaging 3.7 goals per game and should be able to have another multi-goal game against Calgary. This line is a point too low in my opinion. Bet Andrew Kew Over 1.5 Goals at -130 on bet365.
Calgary’s Tanner Cook has also been a reliable offensive weapon. Cook has had at least two goals in every game this season except for one game against Georgia — the team that’s allowing a league-low 8.7 goals per game. Trust him to be involved heavily on Saturday night and bet Tanner Cook Over 1.5 Goals at -130 on bet365.
Picks: Andrew Kew Over 1.5 Goals, Tanner Cook Over 1.5 Goals
Buffalo Bandits at San Diego Seals
Buffalo Moneyline/Spread | -142 / -1.5 |
San Diego Moneyline/Spread | +116 / +1.5 |

San Diego and Buffalo played three really close games last year and both rosters feature a lot of the same core of players. Instead of betting a side in this one, I’m targeting the total of 20.5 and a couple of player props.
I think we’re getting a high-scoring affair on Saturday night in San Diego. Buffalo’s offense has found its groove the past few weeks, and the addition of Joe Resetarits has allowed Dhane Smith to elevate his game to a higher level. (I didn’t think that was even possible for the Great Dhane.) Furthermore, San Diego has the offense to frustrate Buffalo. They’re not afraid to push transition and are good at generating scoring chances on fast breaks — a situation that Buffalo has struggled to defend this year.
Nine of Buffalo’s 13 games have featured 21 or more goals and while only five of San Diego’s 13 games have, there have been an average of 20.8 goals scored in their games this season. I think both offenses are built to give their opponent some trouble and think this total is a a few goals to low. Bet this game to go Over 20.5 at -104 on FanDuel or -105 on TheScore Bet.
I’m also betting two players’ goals props. Dhane Smith is on pace to have his highest goal total since the 2021-22 NLL season. He’s once again -110 to score two or more goals and I think he’ll have a great shot at doing so against San Diego. Smith has multiple goals in nine of 13 games this season and 27 of his last 37. Bet Dhane Smith Over 1.5 Goals at -110 on bet365.
I also like Tre Leclaire to score at least two goals. Leclaire leads the Seals in goals by a wide margin this season and has been one of San Diego’s most consistent players. He’s had multi-goal performances in nine of San Diego’s 13 games this year, so I love his odds to score at least a couple on Saturday. Bet Tre Leclaire Over 1.5 Goals at +140 on bet365.
Picks: Over 20.5, Dhane Smith Over 1.5 Goals, Tre Leclaire Over 1.5 Goals
2025-26 NLL Season Best Bets: 48-41 for +10.43 units (ROI +11.82%)
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
