2026 Premier Lacrosse League Betting Picks and Props: PLL Week 4 Friday Best Bets

The Premier Lacrosse League heads to Charlotte for Week 4. You can read my article on USA Lacrosse Magazine for the key storylines and players to watch ahead of this weekend, but I have few more best bets for the games as well. Let’s take a look at my favorite game picks and player props for Friday night…

Note: The odds presented below are those at the time when Hutton sends his picks out on the Action App and are subject to change.

Utah Archers at Carolina Chaos

As I discussed in my USA Lacrosse Magazine article, I’m expecting the home team to win and cover on Friday night and recommend betting Carolina Chaos -1.5 at +104 on FanDuel or +100 at most other sportsbooks. I think this game will be low-scoring and the total of 20.5 is actually fairly sharp, so I’m avoiding player props in this one. Many of the goals and points props available on DraftKings and FanDuel are low with the under heavily juiced.

However, I also laid out why I think Carolina could end up improving to 4-1 after this weekend. The sit around the middle of the pack as far as title odds go, and now is a great time to get a position on what I believe is a contender. Bet Carolina Chaos to win the 2026 PLL Championship at +650 on DraftKings or BetMGM.

Picks: Carolina Chaos -1.5, Carolina Chaos to win 2026 PLL Championship

California Redwoods vs. New York Atlas

As I laid out in my USA Lacrosse Magazine article, I’m also taking the favorite in the second Friday game. The Redwoods are getting reinforcements in the form of Chris Kavanagh, Sam English, Ryder Garnsey and a couple of rookies, while New York will be missing Bryan Costabile and Matt Traynor at the midfield. While California will be without Cole Kastner, rookie Cullen Brown will slot in his place and his more than capable of holding his own against this depleted Atlas offense. Bet California Redwoods -1.5 at +120 on BetRivers or TheScore Bet.

The lack of offensive firepower for Atlas is also why I expect Redwoods golaie Dillon Ward to have another big game (more on him later) and don’t think he’ll be tested much from beyond the arc. Atlas goalie Liam Entenmann should also be able to defend the two-pointer with California’s biggest two-point threat in Romar Dennis out of the lineup this week. Bet Under 1.5 Two-Point Goals at -104 on FanDuel.

As for player props, I’m betting a trio of first quarter goal props. For California, I’m betting 0.4 unit on Michael Boehm 1st Quarter Goal Scorer at +200 on FanDuel. While Garnsey returns to the lineup, the offense flowed better with Boehm at the lefty attack spot and I think Garnsey could also exploit better matchups from out of the box. Boehm’s versatile skill set is too valuable to not keep at attack. If the California coaches agree with me, you should see him get the starting nod and have a great chance at scoring in the opening period.

As for Atlas, one big addition they got this week was claiming former MVP and Maryland Whipsnake Matt Rambo. While he won’t make up for Teat’s passing ability, I think Rambo can help improve an Atlas offense that has really struggled the last two weeks. At his current odds, it’s worth betting 0.2 unit on Matt Rambo 1st Quarter Goal Scorer at +310 on FanDuel.

Another player who should get some run on the lefty side and can put the ball in the back of the net for Atlas is Reid Bowering. I expect to see a heavy dose of Bowering from the left wing and also in the interior around the crease. His odds are too long given where he sits on the New York depth chart. Bet 0.4 unit on Reid Bowering 1st Quarter Goal Scorer at +195 on FanDuel.

Picks: California Redwoods -1.5, Under 1.5 Two-Point Goals, Michael Boehm 1Q Goal (0.4 unit), Reid Bowering 1Q Goal (0.4 unit), Matt Rambo 1Q Goal (0.2 unit)

PLL AWARD FUTURES TO BET AHEAD OF WEEK 4

I briefly mentioned expecting a big game out of Dillon Ward and I don’t think we’ve talked enough about how well he’s played through two games. He’s allowed just 7.5 goals per game through two games, stopped 64.3% of the shots he’s faced and is going up against an Atlas offense that has averaged just 7.5 goals per game in its last two games.

If he has another big performance against the defending champs, I think we’ll see him firmly in the MVP conversation. Bet Dillon Ward to win 2026 PLL MVP at +3000 on bet365 or FanDuel.

I also think Boston Cannons rookie Mikey Weisshaar is worth a small bet in the 2026 PLL Rookie of the Year market. While Joey Spallina is rightly the favorite and Chad Palumbo a close second, Maryland is on a bye this week and Carolina faces two strong defenses. Weisshaar will face a Waterdogs defense that allowed 19 goals to Boston just a few weeks ago and will be without top defender Gavin Adler and short-stick defensive midfielder Casey Wilson. I like buying low on Weisshaar at his current odds ahead of this week and recommend betting a small amount on Mikey Weisshaar to win 2026 PLL Rookie of the Year at +750 on DraftKings or BetMGM.

Picks: Dillon Ward to win MVP, Mikey Weisshaar to win Rookie of the Year
