2026 Premier Lacrosse League Betting Picks and Props: PLL Week 6 Saturday Best Bets

The Premier Lacrosse League visits sunny San Diego for Week 6 and starts with two Saturday matchups. I previewed the weekend for USA Lacrosse Magazine and gave out best bets on the total in the Maryland Whipsnakes vs. Denver Outlaws game and the spread in the California Redwoods vs. Boston Cannons matchup. Let’s take a look at my favorite props for Saturday’s games as well…

Note: The odds presented below are those at the time when Hutton sends his picks out on the Action App and are subject to change.

Despite this game featuring two strong defenses, I explained in my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview why I expect this game to go Over 22.5 (-102 on FanDuel or -105 on bet365, BetMGM or TheScore Bet.) Both teams are great at turning defensive stops into transition goals and there are a handful of two-point shooters on both teams as well. In addition to betting the over, I also recommend betting Over 1.5 Two-Point Goals at -125 on FanDuel.

As for player props, I’m expecting Maryland to get contributions from a variety of players, so I’m not betting any Whipsnakes in particular. I do expect Brennan O’Neill and Jared Bernhardt to lead the way for Denver though. Maryland’s defensive middies had a rough game in their loss to New York and I think Bernhardt could give them similar troubles out of the box. Bernhardt has been the engine of this offense and is averaging 3.7 points per game this season. Even with Pat Kavanagh back in the lineup, I expect Denver to deploy Bernhardt all over the field, whether at the top of the box or on inverts behind the net, to create advantageous matchups. He’s had multiple goals in 10 of 14 games with Denver and three points or more in eight of those games. Bet Jared Bernhardt Over 1.5 Goals at -113 on FanDuel and Jared Bernhardt Over 2.5 Points at +144 on FanDuel.

As for O’Neill, I expect this to e the “get right game” for the Denver lefty. O’Neill has struggled as a shooter so far this season, but last year he had six points against this Maryland defense and the best way to get him out of his slump is to continue to feed him the ball. This is a great opportunity to buy low on his goals and points props. He’s had at least a pair of goals in 10 of his last 16 games and three or more points in 11 of those games, including against the Whipsnakes in 2025. Bet Brennan O’Neill Over 1.5 Goals at -113 on FanDuel and Brennan O’Neill Over 2.5 Points at -106 on FanDuel.

As for first quarter goal scorer props, I’m betting Denver’s Evan Plunkett again. Plunkett is averaging 7.3 shots per game and got his first goal in Denver’s last game. His odds are still too long in my opinion, so I recommend betting 0.2 unit on Evan Plunkett 1st quarter goal scorer at +320 on FanDuel.

Picks: Over 22.5, Over 1.5 Two-Point Goals, Jared Bernhardt Over 1.5 Goals & Over 2.5 Points, Brennan O’Neill Over 1.5 Goals & Over 2.5 Points, Evan Plunkett 1Q Goal (0.2 unit)

In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I laid out why I expect the California Redwoods to win and cover in what should be a high-scoring game on Saturday night. In addition to betting California Redwoods -1.5 at -102 on BetMGM, I’m also betting a unit on California Redwoods 14+ Points at -110 and a half unit on California Redwoods 15+ Points at +150 on FanDuel. This Cannons defense will be without close defender Hunter Smith and SSDM Marquez White. Boston is planning to use just two true SSDMs with White ruled out and I think the Redwoods offense should feast as a result.

In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I also made the case for betting Dylan Molloy to win PLL MVP at +1200 on BetMGM ahead of California’s doubleheader this weekend. I think he’ll finish as the league’s leading scoring by the end of this weekend and now is the best time to bet him. However, his props are high and juiced in reaction to last week’s nine-point performance. So, I’m targeting some other players’ props in this game.

We’ll start with Molloy’s linemates Chris Kavanagh and Michael Boehm. Kavanagh has recorded a hat trick in half of his 14 career games, so we’re actually getting good odds on his goals prop. With Molloy likely drawing the Owen Grant matchup, I think Kavanagh could find success with Jack Kielty or Remington Reynolds guarding him. Bet Chris Kavanagh Over 2.5 Goals at +136 on FanDuel. As for Boehm, I think he’ll also be a key contributor in this game and like his odds to go over his points and assists props. Bet a full unit on Michael Boehm Over 2.5 Points at +140 and half unit on Michael Boehm Over 2+ Assists at +200 on DraftKings.

As for Boston, I’m betting three players’ props. It’s never fun to fade Marcus Holman, but I’m doing so on Saturday night. He’s only had four points or more twice in his last 15 games, so I’m betting Marcus Holman Under 3.5 Points at -150 on DraftKings.

With Boston attackman Brian Kelly struggling recently, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jack Regnery or Mikey Weisshaar get some run at attack, but even if they stay at midfield, I’m banking on them to contribute. Weisshaar’s touches and shots have been steadily rising, so I recommend betting his points prop. Bet Mikey Weisshaar Over 1.5 Points at -130 on FanDuel. Regnery made his debut last week and took a whopping 10 shots. He showed he can win his matchup at this level, so I recommend betting 0.2 unit on Jack Regnery 1st quarter goal scorer at +300 on FanDuel.

Picks: California Redwoods -1.5, California Redwoods 14+ Points, California Redwoods 15+ Points (0.5 unit), Chris Kavanagh Over 2.5 Goals, Michael Boehm Over 2.5 Points, Michael Boehm 2+ Assists (0.5 unit), Marcus Holman Under 3.5 Points, Mikey Weisshaar Over 1.5 Points, Jack Regnery 1Q Goal (0.2 unit)

2026 PLL Season Best Bets: 37-50 for +1.365 units (ROI +2.00%)
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
