2026 Premier Lacrosse League Betting Picks and Props: PLL Week 6 Sunday Best Bets

The Premier Lacrosse League visits sunny San Diego for Week 6 and starts with two Saturday matchups. I previewed the weekend for USA Lacrosse Magazine and gave out best bets on the totals for the Philadelphia Waterdogs vs. Utah Archers and California Redwoods vs. Carolina Chaos. Let’s take a look at my favorite props for Sunday’s games as well…

Note: The odds presented below are those at the time when Hutton sends his picks out on the Action App and are subject to change.

In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I explained why I’m betting this game to go Over 21.5, which is still -110 on TheScore Bet. The Archers defense has been the best in the league, but Phialdelphia’s offense is incredibly deep and could exploit it in a similar fashion to California last weekend. However, the main reason I like this game to have 22 goals or more is on the other side of the field, Utah’s offense has come alive in their two most recent games and they’ll have a great opportunity to put up goals against a Philadelphia defense allowing the most scores per game in the PLL entering this weekend. I’m not sure if Utah can win a shootout with Philadelphia, but I think they’ll at least be able to produce on offense. Bet Utah Archers 12+ Points at +130 on FanDuel.

Archers offense has had a variety of contributors, but the player who should thrive the most against this defense is Sam King. Utah coach Chris Bates has been creative in playing King all over the field and King has been assertive in attacking his one-on-one matchups. Waterdogs are banged-up at short-stick defensive midfield, Gavin Adler is playing on a torn quad and Kenny Brower struggled to defend King last year, with the Archers attacker scoring four goals on Philly in 2025. King has had multiple goals in six of 15 career games and a hat trick in three of those games, making the odds for his goals props enticing. Bet a full unit on Sam King 2+ Goals at +162, a 0.4 unit on Sam King 1st quarter goal scorer at +185 and a 0.2 unit on Sam King 3+ Goals at +450 on FanDuel. He’s also had three points or more in 8 of 15 games, so I also recommend betting Sam King 3+ Points at +150 on FanDuel.

Connor Fields is another player I’m betting. While he usually racks up points as a goal scorer, I like his odds to record an assist on Sunday. Fields has an assist in eight of his last 15 games, including four of five games this year. Bet Connor Fields Over 0.5 Assist at -110 on DraftKings.

I also recommend betting 0.2 unit on Leo Johnson 1st quarter goal scorer at +250 on FanDuel. Johnson has only played in two games so far this season, but has had a goal in each game and scored four in just one game last weekend. He’s averaging 9.5 shots per game and I expect him to test his matchups on Sunday.

On paper, this Waterdogs offense could be the best in the PLL. Yet, games aren’t won on paper and I want to wait and see how all of Philly’s peices fit together first before I fully back them against the best defense in the PLL. They’ll find ways to score, but it’s hard to predict where that production will come from, especially from the midfield. The two players you can bank on are CJ Kirst and Michael Sowers. Kirst has been incredibly efficient, but his props are high and juiced as a result. I’d rather pass on betting any Kirst props and enjoy another potentially productive outing while holding a CJ Kirst to win PLL MVP ticket (gave out at +750 on BetMGM last week.)

As for Sowers, he’s had success against Utah as a goal scorer, but I think he’ll be more productive as a passer on Sunday. Given Philadelphia’s stable of shooters, I’d rather bet Sowers’ assist prop in this game. He’s had multiple assists in nine of his last 16 games, including three of four games in 2026. Bet Michael Sowers Over 1.5 Assists at +120 on DraftKings.

Picks: Over 21.5, Utah Archers 12+ Points, Sam King 2+ Goals, Sam King 3+ Goals (0.2 unit), Sam King 1Q Goal (0.4 unit), Sam King 3+ Points, Connor Fields Over 0.5 Assist, Leo Johnson 1Q Goal (0.2 unit), Michael Sowers Over 1.5 Assists

The Redwoods defense struggled in the second half of Saturday’s game, but faced a Boston offense that is comparably deep to Carolina’s. One bright spot was California goaltender Dillon Ward, who made 18 saves in the Redwoods’ loss to the Cannons. There will still be some growing pains with this California close defense, but I expect them to do their part in limiting the Chaos offense. On the other end, the Carolina defense matches up fairly well with California. Jarrod Neumann and Jack Rowlett both can match Dylan Molloy’s physicality and, along with Liam Byrnes this season, the Carolina close defense has done well in front of goalie Blaze Riorden. Bet this game to stay Under 23.5 at -110 on FanDuel.

Speaking of Riorden, I’m betting an escalator of his saves props in this game. Riorden has made 14 saves or more in nine of his last 14 games in which he played the full time. Furthermore, California has taken the second-most shots per game at 43.2, so Riorden should see a high volume of shots. Bet a full unit on Blaze Riorden 13+ Saves (-110), a half unit on 14+ Saves (+126), a 0.3 unit on 15+ Saves (+162) and a 0.2 unit on 16+ Saves at +220 on FanDuel.

Finally, I’m betting Jackson Eicher Under 2.5 Points at -115 on FanDuel. Eicher has stayed under this mark in 11 of 16 career games. With Dillon Ward playing so well and Carolina having an array of offensive weapons, I think this is a situation where Eicher ends up staying under his points total again.

Picks: Under 23.5, Jackson Eicher Under 2.5 Points, Blaze Riorden 13+ Saves, 14+ Saves (0.5 unit), 15+ Saves (0.3 unit) & 16+ Saves (0.2 unit)

2026 PLL Season Best Bets: 43-60 for +0.005 unit
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
