The Rocky Mountain Rivalry commences in Denver on Friday night with major playoff implications. The winner can take a commanding lead in the West. I’m expecting a close game between the two best defenses, so instead of betting a side, I’m taking Under 21.5 at -110 on FanDuel. I also like the 1st Quarter Under 5.5 at -111 on FanDuel as well.

As for props, most players’ points and goal totals are appropriately low given the matchup. However, one player I expect to have a strong outing, even in an expected low-scoring game, is Pat Kavanagh. Kavanagh has had three or more points in 12 of 16 games against Utah, including his last two games. He’s also had multiple assists in seven of 16 games, including both Archers matchups. Bet Pat Kavanagh Over 2.5 Points at -125 on BetMGM and a half unit on Pat Kavanagh 2+ Assists at +165 on DraftKings.

Finally, I’m bettng Logan McNaney Over 11.5 Saves at -105 on BetMGM. McNaney has gone over this mark in 11 of 17 games and his defense does a good job of forcing shots he can easily save. While Archers’ offense was passive in their first meeting, I think they’ll be a bit more aggressive in transition this time around and the volume of shots should be there for McNaney to go over this mark.

Picks: Under 21.5, 1Q Under 5.5, Pat Kavanagh Over 2.5 Points, Pat Kavanagh 2+ Assists (0.5 unit), Logan McNaney Over 11.5 Saves

Philadelphia Waterdogs vs. New York Atlas

The New York Atlas are approaching must-win territory and will likely need to defeat Philadelphia at least once in order to make the playoffs. I think Atlas can pull off a win, but don’t love the odds to bet them to do so. Instead, I’m targeting some props in what I expect to be a high-scoring game.

Both teams have more than a couple of two-point threats, so I recommend betting Over 1.5 Two-Point Goals at +140 on FanDuel.

As for players, I’m backing New York midfielder Bryan Costabile, who has two-point range and is putting together a strong case for midfielder of the year. Philly’s short-stick middies are currently allowing the highest shooting percentage in the PLL, and Costabile should be able to switch on to some short-sticks numerous times in this game. Bet Bryan Costabile Over 1.5 Goals (-108) and Bryan Costabile Over 2.5 Points (+136) on FanDuel.

I’m also betting a 0.3 unit each on New York midfielders Reid Bowering 1st Quarter Goal (+220) and Hugh Kelleher 1st Quarter Goal (+250) on FanDuel. Bowering could spend some time on attack now that Matt Rambo has been released and Hugh Kelleher should get plenty of chances to score early against Philly’s short-stick unit.

Finally, I still like Philly’s dynamic duo of CJ Kirst and Michael Sowers to have success against this Atlas defense, but Kirst’s props are a bit too juiced for my liking. Instead, my focus is on Sowers. Sowers should have plenty of chances to rack up assists, but I also think he’ll get plenty of shots on goal too. Trust him to have a strong performance and bet Michael Sowers Over 1.5 Goals at -105 on BetMGM and Michael Sowers Over 3.5 Points at -104 on FanDuel.

I also think it’s worth betting a small amount on Michael Sowers to win MVP at +1200 on FanDuel before this game. CJ Kirst is still my pick to win MVP at this point, but I think his teammate has the best chance at stealing the award from him. It’s worth hedging a bit if you already bet Kirst and haven’t already bet Sowers.

Picks: Over 1.5 Two-Point Goals, Bryan Costabile Over 1.5 Goals & Over 2.5 Points, Michael Sowers Over 1.5 Goals & Over 3.5 Points, Reid Bowering 1Q Goal (0.3 unit), Hugh Kelleher 1Q Goal (0.3 unit)

2026 PLL Season Best Bets: 80-97 for +6.787 units (ROI +4.7%)
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
