Odds via BetRivers
In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I recommended betting Denver Outlaws ML at -118 on BetRivers. I also suggest betting a half unit on Denver Outlaws -1.5 at +120 on BetRivers. I think the Outlaws at full strength can defeat the Redwoods and do so by multiple goals. I know Jared Bernhardt, Pat Kavanagh and Denver’s trio of starting defenders might not be 100% healthy, but they should be healthy enough to be effective and tilt the scales in the Outlaws’ favor. Logan McNaney also looked good in his return to the net during the first half of the last meeting between these two teams. I expect him to start and be effective, but trust backup Owen McElroy even if he’s called upon.
In addition to taking the Denver side, I also like a few player props. In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I highlighted the matchup between Ryder Garnsey and Mike Manley. Manley has held Garnsey to two points or fewer in five of the last Outlaws-Redwoods games that Manley has played. In fact, if you include the matchups when the Outlaws were Chrome LC, you have to go all the way back to August 25, 2019 when Garnsey had more than two points against a team featuring Manley. Manley has had Garnsey’s number for a long time and has been effective even as he nears the end of his career. I expect him to disrupt Garnsey again on Saturday and recommend betting Ryder Garnsey Under 1.5 Goals at -105 and Under 2.5 Points at +115 on BetMGM.
I’m also betting the props of the aforementioned Bernhardt and Pat Kavanagh. Bernhardt has had more than a month to let his hamstring injury heal, so he should be near full strength when he takes the field. California’s close defense is strong, so I expect Denver to lean on Bernhardt’s dodging ability out of the box or in invert situations when matched up with a short-stick defender. Bet Jared Bernhardt Over 1.5 Goals (+135) and Over 1.5 Points (-160) on BetMGM and a half unit on Over 2.5 Points (+162) on FanDuel.
As for Pat Kavanagh, I think he’ll operate more as a feeder in this game and rather than betting his goals or points prop, I’m targeting his assists prop. He’s had two or more assists in eight of his last 15 games, including his last two games against California. I like the matchup and suggest betting Pat Kavanagh 2+ Assists at +110 on DraftKings.
Picks: Denver Outlaws ML, Denver Outlaws -1.5 (0.5 unit), Ryder Garnsey Under 1.5 Goals & 2.5 Points, Jared Bernhardt Over 1.5 Goals, Over 1.5 Points & Over 2.5 Points (0.5 unit), Pat Kavanagh 2+ Assists

Odds via FanDuel
In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I discussed how tight I expect the third matchup between these teams to be. My best bet was Emmet Carroll Over 11.5 Saves at -130 on FanDuel because I expect Carroll to see plenty of shots. While the odds have moved again, I still recommend betting an escalator of Emmet Carroll saves. You can bet Emmet Carroll 12+ Saves at -140 on FanDuel, Over 12.5 Saves at +100 on BetMGM, a half unit on 14+ Saves at +126 on FanDuel, and a 0.25 unit on 15+ Saves at +168 on FanDuel.
As for other Maryland player props, I’m also betting Joey Spallina and Adam Poitras. Spallina has had multiple assists in seven of 10 games this season, including both games against the Cannons. Bet Joey Spallina 2+ Assists at +100 on DraftKings. Poitras has also been lethal against Boston, scoring his highest amount of goals against the Cannons. He scored four goals in the first meeting and a career-high of five goals against Boston a few weeks ago. Bet a unit on Adam Poitras Over 1.5 Points at +105 and a 0.4 unit on 3+ Points at +225 on DraftKings.
As for Cannons, I’m betting Marcus Holman’s points prop and first quarter goal prop. Holman’s goals prop is also intriguing, but I expect Maryland to do their best to limit him as a shooter and I could see him having a mix of goals and assists. So, I recommend betting Marcus Holman Over 2.5 Points at +108 and a half unit on Marcus Holman 1st Quarter Goal at +110 on FanDuel.
I also suggest betting Brian Kelly Over 1.5 Goals at +100 on BetMGM. Kelly has had multiple goals in seven of 11 games, including both games against Maryland. Andrew McMeekin has connected with Kelly plenty off fast breaks and Kelly has had a knack for winning his matchups. Trust him to have another multi-goal game.
Speaking of McMeekin, I think he’ll have a strong day at the stripe. I think Nathan Kapp can put up a fight against McMeekin, but ultimately expect McMeekin to win a lot of faceoffs in what will be Kapp’s just second pro game. Bet Andrew McMeekin 16+ Faceoff Wins at -120, a half unit on 17+ Faceoff Wins at +120, and 0.25 unit on 18+ Faceoff Wins at +175 on DraftKings.
Picks: Emmet Carroll 12+ Saves, 13+ (Over 12.5) Saves, 14+ Saves (0.5 unit) & 15+ Saves, Joey Spallina 2+ Assists, Adam Poitras Over 1.5 Points & 3+ Points (0.4 unit), Marcus Holman Over 2,5 Points, Marcus Holman 1Q Goal (0.5 unit), Brian Kelly Over 1.5 Goals, Andrew McMeekin 16+ Faceoff Wins, 17+ Faceoff Wins (0.5 unit) & 18+ Faceoff Wins (0.25 unit)
2026 PLL Season Best Bets: 142-148 for +26.061 units (ROI +10.83%)
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
