The 2025-26 National Lacrosse League season is just weeks away, and while teams are in the middle of training camps, there are some NLL championship odds I recommend betting right away. This season, the best way to follow my picks will continue to be on X (Twitter) and the Action App. I still plan to publish weekly game previews on BetOnLacrosse.com and in the Bet On Lacrosse newsletter. Now, let’s take a deep dive into my favorite title futures to bet ahead of the 2025-26 NLL season.

2026 NLL Finals Favorite to Bet Now
For this tier of teams, we’re going to look at last year’s semifinal teams: the Buffalo Bandits, Saskatchewan Rush, Halifax Thunderbirds and Vancouver Warriors.
You can talk me into betting the Buffalo Bandits after winning their third straight NLL Championship, even at odds no longer than +500. Despite losing some key pieces from their last three titles (Chase Fraser, Chris Cloutier) in free agency, they reunited with two former Bandits, trading for Mike Triolo and signing Ryan Benesch. With the exception of Fraser and Cloutier, they also re-signed the rest of their pending free agents, most notably starting goaltender Matt Vinc. Retirement rumors involving Vinc were quickly put to rest and the Buffalo netminder has proven he still has plenty left in the tank.
As for the Saskatchewan Rush (+800 on BetMGM/Caesars) and Halifax Thunderbirds (+900 on BetMGM/Caesars) , neither made significant moves this offseason (though Halifax signing Brendan Bomberry is a very underrated acquisition that should elevate an already strong offense). I think the Rush specifically will be a championship contender again, but we’re not getting the same value on their title odds like we did last year. Furthermore, these teams play each other twice before January 3, so it’s best to wait and see how each fares to start the season.
That brings us to my favorite bet on the board: the Vancouver Warriors at +900 (Caesars/DraftKings). The Warriors were two games away from advancing to the NLL Finals and had one of the biggest offseasons we’ve seen in a while. Vancouver coach Curt Malawsky traded for his former Calgary goaltender Christian Del Bianco mid-way through the season last year, and added a few more former Roughnecks via free agency, signing away Calgary’s two best forwards, Curtis Dickson and Jesse King. They weren’t the only former Roughnecks heading west, as fast break threat Shane Simpson and defender Reece Callies also joined a team that was already strong defensively and in transition.
The Warriors should have odds way closer to Buffalo than they currently do, and there’s no better time to bet them than right now.
Pick: Vancouver Warriors to win the 2026 NLL Championship (+900)
Now let’s move to my favorite dark horse candidate to win the 2026 NLL Cup…
