2026 Premier Lacrosse League Betting Picks and Props: PLL Week 9 Saturday Best Bets

Week 9 in the Premier Lacrosse League continues with three more games on Saturday. I previewed the entire weekend for USA Lacrosse Magazine and gave out some best bets, but there are plenty of more props I like for these upcoming games. Let’s take a look at what I’m betting for Saturday…

Note: The odds presented below are those at the time when Hutton sends his picks out on the Action App and are subject to change.

Boston Cannons vs. Carolina Chaos

Boston Moneyline/Spread-135 / -1.5
Carolina Moneyline/Spread+110 / +1.5

In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I discussed why I expect this game to be high-scoring and like Over 25.5 at -105 on BetMGM or Caesars. As a result, I also like betting a half unit on the alternate Over 26.5 at +116 on FanDuel.

As for player props, I like the odds for a couple of 1st quarter goal scorers. Eric Spanos is expected to get another start at attack for Carolina and I like the matchup for Boston midfielder Mikey Weisshaar. Bet 0.3 unit on each of Eric Spanos 1st Quarter Goal (+190) and Mikey Weisshaar 1st Quarter Goal (+180) on FanDuel.

I also expect Coulter Mackesy to have a big game, particularly as a passer. Mackesy had 6 points when these teams last faced, including 3 assists. Carolina plays great on-ball defense, so expect Mackesy to dodge to pass and be one of the main facilitators. Bet Coulter Mackesy 3+ Points (-150) on FanDuel, Coulter Mackesy 2+ Assists (+150) and a 0.2 unit on Coulter Mackesy 3+ Assists (+350) on DraftKings.

I also like the odds for Marcus Holman to record three points in this gams. There are a variety of ways he can hit this mark, whether it’s a hat trick, a combination of goals and assists or even a two-point goal with another point. Bet Marcus Holman 3+ Points at +112 on FanDuel.

Finally, I’m expecting a big game from faceoff specialist Andrew McMeekin. He’s facing Justin Inacio, who has struggled this year and has the lowest faceoff percentage among starters. If it’s a high-scoring game like I expect, then he should have plent of chances to stack up faceoff wins.

Picks: Over 25.5, Alt Over 26.5 (0.5 unit), Eric Spanos 1st Quarter Goal (0.3 unit), Mikey Weisshaar 1Q Goal (0.3 unit), Coulter Mackesy 3+ Points, Coulter Mackesy 2+ Assists, Coulter Mackesy 3+ Assists (0.2 unit), Marcus Holman 3+ Points, Andrew McMeekin 15+ Faceoff Wins, 16+ Faceoff Wins (0.6 unit), 17+ Faceoff Wins (0.4 unit) & 18+ Faceoff Wins (0.2 unit)

Maryland Whipsnakes vs. Utah Archers

Maryland Moneyline/Spread-122 / -1.5
Utah Moneyline/Spread+100 / +1.5

Odds via FanDuel

The second game of the weekend is a rematch from earlier in the year. The Archers and Whipsnakes are the top teams in their respective conferences right now and I’m expecting a close game. Both teams have great defenses but are also surging on offense, so I’m passing on picking a side or betting the full game total. Instead, I’m betting the 1st Half Under 11.5 at -120 on FanDuel.

The Archers played on Friday night and the game was delayef for a couple of hours, so I could see them opting for a slower pace early on to save their legs. Their defense has also been historic this season and should bring Maryland’s surging offense back to earth a bit.

In my USA Lacrosse Magazine preview, I made the case to bet Emmet Carroll Over 10.5 Saves at -102 and you can still get it at -105 on BetMGM. I also recommend betting Emmet Carroll Over 11.5 Saves at +126 on FanDuel or +125 on DraftKings. The Whipsnakes netminder has made at least 11 saves or more in 14 of 16 career starts and 12 saves in 12 of those 16 games.

One of the Whipsnakes I think that this Utah defense will limit is Rob Pannell. Pannell may have set the all-time points record with 6 just last week, but he’s been quiet when facing the Archers recently. He was held to 0 points on 4 shots by Utah earlier in the year and had just 1 goal against them last season. I like the odds to bet Rob Pannell Under 2.5 Points at -165 on DraftKings.

Picks: 1H Under 11.5, Emmet Carroll Over 10.5 Saves & Over 11.5 Saves, Rob Pannell Under 2.5 Points

Philadelphia Waterdogs at Denver Outlaws

Philadelphia Moneyline/Spread-105 / +1.5
Denver Moneyline/Spread-115 / -1.5
Total22.5

Odds via Caesars

The final game of the weekend is the first game of the year where both teams are on their second game of the weekend. Both offenses are led by prolific attack lines, but I like the matchup for the Outlaws and give the Denver defense the edge in this one. Bet Denver Outlaws moneyline at -115 on Caesars or FanDuel and a half unit on Denver Outlaws -1.5 at +122 on FanDuel.

The Denver defense should be able to give the Waterdogs attack some trouble with Ben Randall predumably guarding CJ Kirst and JT Giles-Harris covering Michael Sowers. Well I don’t think Kirst will have another 5+ point performance, I’m expecting him to still manage to have some success. Yet, Sowers could struggle and was held to two points by Denver last season. I expect Philly to utilize it’s middies a bit more and like the odds to bet Michael Sowers Under 3.5 Points at -120 on DraftKings.

As for the Outlaws offense, I think Brennan O’Neill and Jared Bernhardt should thrive and expect Denver to utilize them both as the main initiators. Expect one or both to come out of the box at times in order to try and attack Philly’s short-stick defensive middies. Bet Brennan O’Neill Over 2.5 Points at -120 and a half unit on Jared Bernhardt 1st quarter goal at +155, both on FanDuel.

Picks: Denver Outlaws ML, Denver Outlaws -1.5 (0.5 unit), Michael Sowers Under 3.5 Points, Brennan O’Neill Over 2.5 Points, Jared Bernhardt 1Q Goal (0.5 unit)

2026 PLL Season Best Bets: 86-103 for +7.442 units
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
