The Carolina Chaos and California Redwoods face off for the second time this season in a matchup that could put the loser’s playoff hopes in jeopardy. I think this game will be closer than the last meeting, but don’t have a strong feeling on the side or total. Instead, I’m targeting a few player props.

We’ll start with Andrew McAdorey, who is just five points away from going over his regular-season point total of 19.5. The shifty midfielder generates a ton of scoring chances each game and scored on three of them when they last faced Carolina. In my opinion, Chaos doesn’t have a short-stick defensive midfielder who can effectively cover McAdorey and even if he draws a pole in settled situations, California has done a great job of getting him chances in unsettled and early shot clock situations. Trust him to score a couple on Saturday and bet Andrew McAdorey Over 1.5 Goals at -128 on FanDuel.

As for Carolina, I’m trusting the Redwoods defense to limit Jackson Eicher again. Eicher had just one goal on three shots in their last meeting and hasn’t had three or more points since his debut in Week 1. Carolina’s offense has been wildly inconsistent and I like the odds to bet Jackson Eicher Under 2.5 Points at -138 on FanDuel.

Finally, I’m betting Blaze Riorden Over 14.5 Saves at +112 on FanDuel. Riorden has been hit or miss this season, but should see a high enough volume to go over this mark on Saturday. Riorden had 15 saves when these teams last played, despite leaving the game in the fourth quarter. The Redwoods are averaging the third-most shots on goal with 27 per game and I expect Riorden to save more than half the shots he faces on Saturday.

Picks: Andrew McAdorey Over 1.5 Goals, Jackson Eicher Under 2.5 Points, Blaze Riorden Over 14.5 Saves

Denver Outlaws vs. Maryland Whipsnakes

The second installment in the “Bernhardt Bowl” caps off the weekend and features plenty of former Terps. I think this game will also be close and am targeting the first half total instead of a side.

Both offenses have been excellent in their past three games and I expect a lot of scoring early on. Both have had a tendency to push in transition and feature a handful of two-point threats, so I recommend betting the 1st Half Over 12.5 at -115 on DraftKings.

Speaking of two-point threats, Whipsnakes midfielder Brad Smith is currently tied for most two-point goals this season. His range combined with his ability to dodge and feed makes me love a half unit bet on Brad Smith Over 2.5 Points at +186 on FanDuel. He’s only gone over this mark twice in five games, but has been extremely efficient and is getting plenty of touches to make this a good bet at those odds.

As for another Whipsnake I’m backing, I’m wagering a 0.4 unit on Levi Anderson 1st Quarter Goal Scorer at +250 on FanDuel. Anderson should get the start in that lefty attack spot again this game after a five-goal performance in Baltimore. With Matt Rambo out of the lineup again, I love his odds to score in the first period.

As for Denver, I’m also targeting Pat Kavanagh’s points prop. As someone with Pat Kavanagh to win MVP tickets at odds of 200-1 and 100-1, I’ve loved seeing him thrive in this Outlaws offense. Yet, I trust Maryland to do all they can to limit his impact on Saturday night and like the odds to bet Pat Kavanagh Under 4.5 Points at -125 on DraftKings.

With Kavanagh potentially limited, I expect Logan Wisnauskas to pick up the slack. Wisnauskas has three or more points and two or more goals in three of five games this season and is shooting 40% so far this season. Wisnauskas should get some favorable matchups with Kavanagh, Jared Bernhardt and Brennan O’Neill potentially drawing more attention. Bet a full unit on Logan Wisnauskas Over 1.5 Goals at +114 on FanDuel and a half unit on Over 2.5 Points at +145 on DraftKings.

Picks: 1st Half Over 12.5, Brad Smith Over 2.5 Points (0.5 unit), Levi Anderson 1Q Goal Scorer (0.4 unit), Pat Kavanagh Under 4.5 Points, Logan Wisnauskas Over 1.5 Goals & Over 2.5 Points (0.5 unit)

2025 PLL Season Best Bets: 51-42 for +13.035 units
All bets are to win 1 unit or more (i.e. 1.2 units at -120, 1 unit at +120) unless otherwise specified.
