2025 PLL Championship Series Game best Bets

As far as the first two games are concerned, I want to see how the first two games play out before betting any totals. I’m hesitant to bet any unders right away given if these games are close and go into overtime, the new overtime rules will be in effect and any under bets could easily die during those extra four minutes of overtime. Once we can gauge how competitive these teams are, we’ll be able to know if overtime is something we should actually be concerned about with each particular matchup.

Instead, we’re going to start by betting two favorites on the spread.

Maryland Whipsnakes vs. New York Atlas

I already discussed how I’m low on New York to start this series and think Maryland is a bit underrated based on their past championship series history. New York should be a fairly sound team defensively, but I’m concerned about their offensive firepower.

Maryland also has the ability to play both a lefty in Krebs and righty in Mark, which could mess with New York’s shooters enough to give them an edge.The Whipsnakes should be able to outlast Atlas and the odds are good enough to bet them to win by multiple goals. Boston Cannons vs. Utah Archers

Boston is rightly favored at most sportsbooks but BetRivers has them as a pick ’em with Utah at -113 either side. Once again, I’d rather get plus money odds and bet a team on the short spread given the format and higher chance at a win by multiple goals.

I’ve laid out pretty thoroughly why I like the Cannons to repeat and I expect them to take care of business against the Archers in their first game. Kirst should be able to stifle Utah’s offense enough and Utahs’ goalie duo is the weakest of the gour teams in my opinion, providing a great opportuntiy for this Boston offense to win by margin.
